FOR 36 YEARS, the Aviation Art Museum has been producing high-quality color and black & white prints that depict aviation's rare, historic and popular aircraft.
Based in St. Paul, Minn., the museum offers five color prints and more than 195 charcoal pencil lithographs. The color prints are printed on acid-free, 80-pound museum archival stock. The prints, which depict Charles Lindbergh's "Spirit of St. Louis" over the Atlantic, Amelia Earhart's Lockheed Vega, the Wright Brothers first flight, the B-17 "Memphis Belle" as it heads for home and the P-40 Warhawk, are 24" by 36" in size. All are signed by artist Kenneth Fox. |
THE BLACK AND WHITE charcoal pencil lithographs are 16" by 20", which includes a premat border. Each print is titled, contains a full background and is packed with details. The black and white series includes military, classic, civilian, experimental, foreign, special mission and spacecraft. Included are the P-51 Mustang, P-38 Lightning, B-17 Flying Fortress, F4U Corsair, Cessna 172, Piper J-3 Cub, B-24 Liberator, Concorde, Supmarine Spitfire, the Hindenburg, F6F Hellcat, SR71 Blackbird and the Space Shuttle. These color and black & white prints make ideal gifts for aviation buffs and collectors of all ages. |
